About
My passion is in teaching and coaching but I have always been interested in exploring how Internet technologies can facilitate exchange of ideas and create positive learning environment both for self-study and for working in groups.
Today I offer my services as a coach/educator and pod producer and consultant to the businesses and organisations who are open to new ideas and to the world around them.
Podified
I started listening to podcasts on my daily commuter trips to work and was immediately seduced by the opportunity to learn something new while walking, biking or sitting on the train. Psychology? Be my guest! Languages? No hay problema! Comedy show? Which one? Suddenly the tough life of a commuter became much more tolerable. My eyes went offline after a day at work spent in front of the computer but my ears were ready to tune in to the waves of wisdom coming from my fellow podcasters. Many of those, I realized, were nothing like the tech geeks I imagined them to be, but quite usual folks. I took a crack at podcasting with my first podcast/show Open Questions, where I interviewed people from all walks of life on the topics that touched me. From the start I decided to make at least one improvement with each episode and have been sticking with this simple principle. There is always place for improvement and it helps me to keep the obsessive perfectionist in me in check.
Xpress thyself!
I started my second show CoachXpress for the Swedish speaking audience with the idea of delivering useful coaching tips on the go. Listeners could grab a coaching tip together with a cup of coffee or listen to it on their way to the office. I wanted to invite other coaches jump on the train and share their best tools and methods. It didn’t take long before reality hit me on the head: none of the coaches I spoke to knew about podcasting and its potential in reaching a targeted group or generic public and to have loads of fun on the way.
This activated my problem-solving mode and I started offering my services as podcasting consultant, producer and trainer. I have been on both sides of the who is not exactly the tech genius but has a vision for the show and knowing what needs to be done to make a podcast happen. I’ve learned from my own and others’ mistakes and offer my clients an updated version of my know-how, built on my experience in podcasting and training as well as on my resolution to always do at least one thing better and to keep it as simple and efficient as possible.
